With many dishes as British as the hotel itself, the á la carte menu at 190 Queen’s Gate captures the imagination with its simplicity and fullness of flavour. The creation of our Executive Head Chef, Kim Sjobakk, there is nothing fussy or extraneous here. The dishes are contemporary classics, prepared and presented in a captivatingly modern way.
Importantly, the ingredients on all our menus are fresh and often organic. Their provenance is always a matter of pride, with many being sourced locally. Our carefully curated wine list includes many old favourites and some rare surprises.
190 Queen’s Gate is perfect accompaniment to concerts, proms and other events at The Royal Albert Hall. You can begin or end your evening here thanks to our set pre- and post-theatre dining menus. You need to order by 10.30 pm.
If you are attending a signature event at The Royal Albert Hall, we strongly recommend you reserve a table. For parties of 8 or more, reservations will need to be guaranteed with a credit card.
Our menu of lighter dishes is equally enticing. Again, the conception is traditional; the execution contemporary. Imagination has been added to the full range of comforting classics, so there is a surprise with every dish: mustard mayonnaise with your brioche burger; a fried egg with your Club sandwich.
For the sociable and adventurous, we also have a small plates menu with some tantalizing options. Think Raw tuna with yuzu and capers. Or Panacotta with chocolate and lavender ganache.
